US, curriculum.
2-18 yrs

As an established international school, Hong Kong International School offers an American-style, college preparatory curriculum devoted to the development of the whole child. Our learning community is unique in that it strongly links education with true preparation for life.

Families are drawn to Hong Kong International School for its record of achievement within an atmosphere of mutual respect among students, teachers, and parents. We are proud of our faculty and programs, which rival the very best international schools in the world.

Hong Kong International School is comprised of four schools housed at two campuses on the south side of Hong Kong island. The High School (Grades 9-12) and Middle School (Grades 6-8) are located in Tai Tam. Located just ten minutes away in Repulse Bay are the Upper Primary (Grades 3-5) and Lower Primary (R1-Grade 2) Schools.

Hong Kong International School offers a university preparatory curriculum for grades 9-12. Ninety percent of our graduates attend universities in the U.S. or Canada and the remaining 10 percent attend universities in Asia, Australia or Europe. Through academics, co-curricular activities, leadership and service, HKIS offers each student the opportunity to develop his or her intellect, imagination, independence and responsibility; and an identity which combines spirituality and coherent values.
