INTRODUCTION
Location - Jabriya, Infront of Jawad Restaurant and Boys School. The School's
Owners are Mrs. Adelah Al Sayer ands Mrs. Khaledah Al Mudhaf.
Mrs. Adelah Al Sayer owns 5 schools. She owns: Al Jeel Al Jadeed School
founded in 1964, Al Nasser School founded in 1969, The English Academy
founded in 1993, The American Academy for Girls founded in 1995, New Zone
Institute founded in 1999.
The school operates under the direction of a board whose chariman is
Mr. Rashid Al Rashid. Memberas are Mr. Nasser Al Sayer and Mrs. Adelah
Al Sayer. The director of the school is Mrs. Adelah Al Sayer and the Technical
Director is Khaledah Al Mudhaf.
The mission of the English Academy is to educate and inspire students
to academic excellence and to become productive and responsible citizens
with the ability to cummunicate effectively. Through the British Educational
Programme, which respects Islamic culture. The English Academy aims to
produce students who are well informed, adaptable and equipped with the
necessary skills and ethical values to assume roled of future responsibility
in society.
CURRICULUM
The subjects taught are as follows for infants, Juniors and Seniors.
Infants: English, Arabic and PE
Juniors: English, Arabic, PE, Art, Music, Drama, Science, History, Geography,
Social Studies, French and IT.
Seniors: English, Arabic, PE, Art, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History,
Geography, Social Studies, French and IT.

EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
The English Academy Statement of Philosophy:
1) To encourage the students and use of English and Arabic Languages thus
promoting bilingualism in the student body.
2) To offer an international education of high quality, that will inform
students and encourage therm to think independently, creatively and critically,
regardless of ability.
3) To employ qualified staff committed to education and the development
of their pupils at an academic level and pastoral level.
4) To encourage students to be confident individuals who are realistic
about their choices in life, after leaving the school community.
5) To encourage students to stand by their princiapls and do what they
know to be right, even in the face of peer pressure. Ethics and values
