Kabira International School is a private day school offering education to boys and girls aged 2 to 16 from over 40 nationalities.

The curriculum is based upon the English National Curriculum, with suitable adaptations to reflect the school’s location and its multi-cultural, international character. English, maths, science and information technology form a core part of the curriculum which aims to nurture children who are highly literate and numerate independent learners, capable of accessing and using information in a variety of forms and with understanding. Children also study a range of other subjects to provide a broad and balanced curriculum.

There are specialist teachers for PE, music and French and for all subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4. All teachers are graduate professionals with most being British trained and qualified.

The school is situated on a green, pleasant and secure campus which is designed to be in harmony with its surrounding environment. Mature native trees and plants are located throughout the grounds and many classrooms are of wooden construction.

The school has experienced a period of significant development and enjoys facilities of a high standard which include a library, a swimming pool, extensive playing fields, a Learning Support Department including Special Needs and English as a Second Language specialists, Internet access and a computer room. A new purpose-built Secondary Teaching Block with laboratory and specialist rooms was opened in April 2002.

The school shares its site with the Kabira Country Club which is widely used by staff and parents helping create a very strong sense of community.

The school is strongly committed to the idea that parents are equal partners in their child's education and aims to create self-confident, happy, independent children who are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for the twenty first century.
